Dr. LaWanna Starks
Dr. LaWanna Starks is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She works tirelessly to provide just that type of care to children and has brought together a group of compassionate and experienced staff to assist in creating an environment in which children feel welcomed and nurtured. Dr. Majé Goodwin
Dr. Goodwin is Board Certified in Pediatrics and is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She shares our philosophy of providing a healing village in which each child and family receives experienced, trusted, and respectful care. She enjoys all aspects of Pediatrics, with particular focus on preventive care and adolescent medicine.
Hospital Care and After-Hours Care
Dr. Starks works with other board certified pediatricians to provide 24-hour hospital care to hospitalized children at both Presbyterian and CMC Hospitals downtown.
Dr. Starks welcomes complimentary meet the doctor prenatal consultations by appointment only. These appointments can be scheduled at 8:30 am daily. Dr. Starks visits CMC-University hospital to provide care for newborns whose parents have requested that our office provide their newborn’s care.
At Starks Pediatrics you will have access to your pediatrician 24 hours per day, 7 days per week; however, we ask that you reserve after hours calls to emergencies only. Our after hours voicemail will direct parents to Dr. Starks or Dr. Goodwin for emergencies or questions that can't wait until normal business hours. Direct routine questions to the office during normal business hours.
